Bookkeeping/Accounts

A great position has arisen for an experienced part-time bookkeeper with our growing company. For the right candidate the position offers flexibility to suit personal circumstances and the opportunity to take responsibility for the day to day running of the accounts. The position is a stand alone role reporting directly to the Managing Director. Previous experience will be essential, particularly of sage accounts. Duties will include all financial aspects of managing day to day accounts including;
Processing purchase invoices, supplier payments by BACS or cheque, customer invoicing, credit control, bank reconciliation, petty cash control, payroll monitoring, monthly cash flow updates, vat returns, monthly management reports, year end accounting,
Besides being well organised and highly motivated you should have a bright and positive attitude, be a keen team player and have the ability to hit the ground running! In addition to managing the finances, as part of the team, you should happy to provide administrative support and carry out other everyday office tasks so Outlook, Word and Excel experience is also required.

A typical week will consist of 21 hours over 5 days to suite personal circumstances and the rate of pay will be £ 9.20 - £ 11.20 per hour ( approx. £ 18000 - £ 22000 pro-rata) depending on experience.
